Ethics in Business Award

by Allison on May 4, 2012

Today we were honored to be named the recipient of the 10th Annual Ethics in Business Award by The Samaritan Counseling Center. This recognition identifies our organization as one that has demonstrated exemplary ethical practices.

The criteria for the award are based on the five principles of ethical behavior, as outlined in the book The Ethical Imperative: Why Moral Leadership is Good Business by John Dalla Costa. The five principles are Respecting Others, Being Fair, Being Honest, Striving for Justice, and Honoring the Environment. The Selection Committee chooses finalists after a review process.

Ken Schiller, Co-Owner, said of the award, “Being recognized provides us with great validation that we are operating at the highest ethical level possible. We measure each degree of our success and this award is another way for us to acknowledge the things we are doing right.”

A group of our senior leaders were in attendance when our name was called and we couldn’t be prouder!

We believe that operating respectfully, fairly, and honestly is important to our long-term success and sustainability. We strive for excellence in everything we do from hiring the right folks to delight you to creating legendary experiences every time you come into our restaurants. Achieving our mission of guest delight requires us to do so in an ethical way. Without our strong core values. we would not be the Mighty Fine you know and love!

We are very honored and grateful to be recognized for this award and strive to improve our business even more. Thank you to The Samaritan Center and thanks to all you guests that make it so fun to get out of bed every morning and serve the best classic Texas burger you’ve ever put in your mouth!
